If you’re at work on this post-Thanksgiving morning, it’s probably a slow day around the office (unless you’re in retail, in which case you’re probably not reading this). So to help you while away the hours, here are a few of my favorite logic puzzles from around the net:
- The laser game.
- Paradoxion Express
- The many excellent puzzles at logicmazes.com
- The planarity game (Not exactly a logic puzzle, but close enough in spirit.)
Warning: These are majorly addictive. Enjoy, but resolve not to let them take over your life. You have a blog to get back to.
Oh NO. The laser game almost lost me a job, nearly a decade back. Must… resist…
The planarity game is excellent– But if you’re really interested in wasting time, this is the mother lode of ‘small’ games.
In the interest of maybe getting anything at all done today I’m not playing these. But I forwarded them to my stepson. He’s on vacation.
Thanks to Dyson vacuum cleaners: starts easy, gets progressively more complicated.
Help! I think I’m addicted to planarity.
Another good one is Assembler. It’s a physics-based puzzle game.

Oh man! The laser game is fun.
I managed to beat Level 17 without using two of the pieces (a double-sided mirror and a normal mirrors).
But Level 18 is taking me forever to figure out!
